Supporting residents with community grants.

In line with our goals of a stronger, healthier and greener Wargrave, we want to offer grants ranging from £500 to £1000 to small businesses and organisations with projects and ideas that will directly benefit Wargrave residents

We aim to see activities grow through our offer of funding, plus encourage new groups to form, especially within the Community Hub building, which can be a safe space for residents to take the lead and pioneer their ideas.

Start-Up business grants

Start-Up Grants for small businesses – offering up to £500 to deliver a programme or activity in the Wargrave Community Hub.

Supporting organisations to grow

Supporting local organisations to grow – creating a register of local organisations in the area, talking to them about what they need, and how we can help. Helping them bid for funding

Enriching community organisations

Encouraging organisations to apply for a small grant that particularly focus on the following:
– Keeping places safe
– Improving green spaces in Wargrave
– Developing community spirit
– Minimising waste

Housing and neighbourhood action

Supporting the development of tenants groups, offering them a free space to meet, and talking to them about what they need and how they can take action
